This is a fantastic Ajoite in Quartz cabochon! The color on this piece is really electric and the way the piece has been cabochoned allows extra light to pass through. The ajoite in this piece is fibrous in some places, and that allows the blue green color to glow through this piece. The black hematite also leaves a nice contrast with the blue green.This piece is out of an old collection, and I recently had it polished. This piece weighs 76cts, and measures 43mm x 30mm!!. A fantastic example of this very rare and desirable mineral. Ajoite has become CRAZY hard to get the last few years, and it will only continue to get harder, and especially more expensive.
